Xavier Freixedas
General Cellar Technician

Xavier Freixedas was born on March 25 th, 1973 in Vilafranca del Penedès. With an economics background, he began his professional career in the banking sector. It was in 1998 when he began his career in the wine sector, where he already has 20 years of experience, always carrying out the tasks of general management.

In 1998, he entered as CEO of Cavas Lavernoya. In a short time, the company began to generate profits. Sales in 1998 were € 250,000 and the turnover was close to € 2,000,000.

In 2015, he acquired the duties of Wine and Cava Manager at Bardinet, boosting the products among the existing Bardinet customers and serving as a link between the wineries of Bardinet and the General Management of Bardinet. Nowadays, he is the General Director of Lacrima Baccus.

Stefania Della Vedova
Export Manager

Stefania Della Vedova was born on March 28th, 1991 in Gallarate, Italy.

She has got a degree in literatures and foreign languages at the Universitá degli Studi di Milano.

During her studies, she benefited from a student research bursary participating in the Erasmus program at the Ruhr Universitaet Bochum in Germany. After moving to Vilafranca del Penedès, land of cava and wines, she began to work as Wine Educator in Bodegas Torres. She studied at the Wset Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits and she followed with her passion: wines, cavas and spirits.

She currently holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Miguel de Cervantes University and is pursuing another Master's degree in Journalism and Digital Communication. She starts a new adventure and a new involving project in Lacrima Baccus.

Josep Almirall
Export Manager

Josep Almirall was born on January 20 th, 1984 in Vilafranca del Penedès, a region of wines and cavas. He studied oenology and in 2006 decided to undertake a trip around the world, to complement his knowledge and learn different techniques and styles of making a wine.

When he finished his sommelier studies in 2014, he decided to focus more on communication and marketing, starting to work in the wine tourism department of Bodegas Torres. His training includes the WSET Level 2 Award in Wine & Spirits in English and an MBA in Oenology at the IMF Business School.

Right now, he starts a new stage in his life: for him Lacrima Baccus is a challenge where Josep Almirall and Lacrima Baccus will learn and grow together

Xavier Mas
Technical Cellar Manager

In 2006 Xavier Mas joined the Bardinet group to make high-grade beverages, blends of enological products and take control of the barrel of rum barrels. Since then he has carried out tasks in the winery and production in important brands such as Codorniu and Mont Marçal, until in 2015 he returned to the Bardinet group as a cellar technician for Lacrima Baccus, Mont Marçal and Ron Negrita.

Throughout these years, Xavier Mas has combined his professional tasks with training. From prevention and safety courses for a Master in viticulture, oenology and wine marketing and a course of Higher Technician in Food Industry.

He is currently working as a General Cellar Technician in Lacrima Baccus.
